Our History

Infovisa hires Dan and Anne Brenner to create a Retirement Plan Services division geared to provide an outsource solution for the Bank Trust channel.

Infovisa spins off the Retirement Plan Services division to create Retirement Direct. Dan and Anne Brenner have an ownership interest in RD.

RD has enjoyed a long history with our recordkeeping software vendor, Schwab Retirement Technologies (SRT). In 2005, RD makes the strategic decision to utilize SRT’s Application Services Provider (ASP). This allows RD to leverage SRT’s ASP environment from a system, control and business continuation viewpoint.

RD reaches an agreement with Charles Schwab Trust Company (CSTC) to provide a custody outsource solution for its clients. RD is able to leverage many automated features with its recordkeeping system and Schwab’s custody platform. CSTC offers open fund architecture.

RD adds Matrix as an additional custody platform alternative. Matrix offers a feature rich platform and provides excellent services with open fund architecture.

RD is recognized by Charles Schwab Trust Company with the Year to Year New Business Growth Award for the largest increase in assets.

RD becomes one of the first TPA’s in the country to provide a mobile app for its participants. RD believes the tablet and smartphone strategy is the wave of the future for how participants will want to access their retirement accounts. RD is proud to be at the forefront of this exciting new technology.

RD launches many new web features including retirement readiness, loan administration, eStatement \ enhanced statement format which includes a financial planning section, online beneficiaries, automatic savings increase for deferral changes, and enhanced fund performance capabilities.
